Created and presented by Parking Review magazine, the British Parking Awards are an independent competition. Now in their 20th year, the awards recognised the leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work.
2022 Competitive Categories
These are competitive categories that are assessed by the jury.
The entries are published as a long list which is whittled down to a shortlist.
Best New Car Park
The Best New Car Park Award is a site-specific award that recognises outstanding design and construction techniques that turn car parks into landmark structures. It is open to local authority and private car park operators, owners, architects, developers and construction companies. Car parks entered may be multi-storeys, underground facilities or surface sites.
Car Park Design Award
The design, construction and refurbishment of car parks have seen the development of specialised techniques and procedures. The Car Park Design Award recognises innovative practices and craftsmanship in the construction of new car parks and in the renovation of existing ones.
The car parks assessed in this category will be drawn from the main lists of New Car Park and Renovation projects. (Use the Best New Car Park criteria as a guide.)

2022 Special Awards
The recipients will be selected by the jury from either the field of entries or wider parking sector.
