Created and presented by Parking Review magazine, the British Parking Awards are an independent competition. The awards recognise the leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work.
Entry Criteria
The Back Office Award
The Back Office Award recognises the excellent work of back office teams working for local authorities, private parking operators, transport consultancies and civil enforcement agencies.
The criteria:
The team may work in the back office or provide support services (including IT, press, marketing, maintenance and service departments.)
The entry should include details of:

Name of team manager

Names of key team members and job titles
-
Definition of the team's role within the parking operation/company

Copy of team/organisation/company structure
-
Details of staff training undertaken and success obtained (NVQs, MBAs, etc.)

External verification of performance (consultant studies, Investors in People, SIA ratings, etc.)

Recognition of the team's work (Internal and external awards, press coverage, customer testimonials, etc.)
The judges are looking for evidence of:

A commitment to team building and staff development

Consistent application of good practice

Excellence as representatives of the parking sector to customers and the wider community.
