Created and presented by Parking Review magazine, the British Parking Awards are an independent competition. The awards recognise the leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work.
Entry Criteria
Safer Spaces Award
The Safer Spaces Award recognises how parking policy, design and management practice can improve the quality of the street and car park environments to encourage a sense of wellbeing by reducing fear of crime among members of the public and those working in the sector.

This category is open to local authorities, parking operators, campaign groups and other organisations working to create a safer places.
​
Actions taken may include: better car park and street design; the use of camera and help-point systems; more conspicuous patrolling; publicity and awareness campaigns; better training for staff; and partnership working with agencies and organisations active in the public realm.
